The automatic measuring gauge ensures that the distance and wheel diameter are determined fully automatically. With the Auto Select function, the machine also automatically detects whether light alloy rims are involved. The measuring run is started and stopped by pressing the drive roller against the tire. For small wheel diameters, the measuring run can also be performed manually. The M22 bike enables both static and dynamic balancing. Thanks to the fixed spindle axis, the wheel rotates freely on its own bearings. This eliminates all the mounting uncertainties associated with conventional car wheel balancers, where the wheel flange rotates together with the rim. The wheels are clamped manually, and the two universal flanges supplied enable all common wheel types to be clamped quickly and precisely. The AF15 clamping flange (included in the scope of delivery) enables the mounting of all wheels with rolling bearings and a center hole diameter of 15 to 35. The AGF clamping flange (optionally available) enables the machining of scooter wheels as well as flanged or single-sided guided rear wheels for single-sided swing arms.
