That?s why they do not twist and therefore slip always at the same place and wear evenly. The result is an amazing, unprecedented ride quality and enhanced uniform acceleration without jerking. Excellent sliding properties on the aluminium variomatic material, as well as a significantly longer life thanks to the special self-lubricating polymer nylon material. No need of additional grease or lubricant. It is generally recommended by Dr. Pulley to use about 10-15% lighter rolls than the original. This proves a substantially stronger and steadier acceleration with constant high speed
