Because the chain is under load every time you ride, it is also one of the wearing parts that should be checked regularly. Changing it is a standard procedure when inspecting a bike, but can also prove to be particularly tricky for some. With the CONTEC Connector Spring locking link, the new single-speed chain (1/2" x 1/8") can be fitted easily and without additional tools. The two halves of the connecting link are simply inserted into each other and snap into place by pulling firmly. The chain can then be opened again just as easily and without tools. The Connector Spring locking link contains 2 sets.
