A hub is like the heart of a bicycle wheel—it forms the stable core that ensures a smooth riding experience. A rear hub has the additional task of securely holding the cassette in place to promote both optimal power transfer from the chain and seamless shifting. Our CONTEC EROQ rear cassette hub is exceptionally robust and can therefore withstand the high torque and heavy weight of an e-bike. The hub features an aluminum body with a hollow axle and is attached to your bike using a compatible QR skewer (e.g., CONTEC EROQ.R Rear). The compatible QR skewer is included with the hub. The standard mounting width of the CONTEC EROQ rear cassette hub is 141 mm. It is also compatible with 6-bolt brake rotors and has 32 spoke holes. The EROQ rear hub features a robust Shimano Micro Spline Freewheel Body made of durable steel with high-quality ball bearings. The ratchet freewheel system, with 27 teeth and 3 Paws, ensures rapid interaction between the freewheel and the hub body, so that your pedaling effort is quickly converted into forward momentum.
