A hub is like the heart of a wheel - it forms the stable core that leads smooth riding experience. A rear hub has the additional task of keeping a firm grip on the cassette in order to keep both optimum power transmission of the chain as well as seemless shifting. Our CONTEC EROQ cassette rear hub is particularly robust and can therefore withstand the high torque and weight of an e-bike. The hub has an aluminium body with a hollow axle and is attached to your bike using a suitable quick release (e.g. CONTEC EROQ.R Rear). The matching quick release is included with the hub. The standard installation width of the CONTEC EROQ cassette rear hub is 135mm. It is also suitable for 6-hole brake discs and has 32 spoke holes. The EROQ rear hub has a robust SRAM XD freehub body made of sturdy steel with a high quality ball bearing. Its ratchet freehub system with 27 teeth and 3 pawls offers fast interaction between the freehub and hub body, so that your pedal stroke is quickly converted into propulsion.
