The ideal mixing ratio is 1:1, which corresponds to a frost protection of -36°C. The maximum possible frost protection of approx. -52°C arises with a mixture of 2:1 (concentrated water). Pure antifreeze reduces the efficiency of the cooling in comparison to 1:1 mixture by about 50%.
