High-tech tread gauge, height 60 mm, for wheel aligner "megaCheck"
For fast and accurate measurement of tire tread depth. The complete integration into the "megaCheck" vehicle acceptance system (8.96 68 37/5) enables a precise condition check of the tire tread and, in conjunction with the measurement of the chassis geometry, offers a comprehensive and fast acceptance diagnosis. Can also be adapted to already installed "megaCheck" systems.

Application:
The vehicle drives onto the contact guides as instructed for correct wheel positioning. The measuring flaps with two 3D laser scanners then open automatically to measure the tire tread at two different height points, excluding possible distortions such as stones jammed in the tread. Once the tread depth and chassis geometry have been measured by "Argos Drivethru", the measuring flaps close again to ensure protection against dust and dirt.
