Chain E1 from KMC In order to withstand the high forces of modern e-bike drives, KMC has designed the E1 chain especially for use on pedelecs. The E1 is made of stainless steel, which has a number of advantages such as low maintenance and corrosion resistance. A special anti-rust coating makes the chain particularly robust and hard-wearing. A Connecting Link is included to connect the two loose ends of the Chain. Because the chain can withstand the forces of an e-bike, it is labeled "e-bike special".
