For spark plug threads that have been torn out or damaged (e.g. in light alloy cylinder heads), no need to remove the cylinder head, remains of the old thread are cleared out and the new thread cut in one process, the threaded inserts are seated very firmly and gas-tight, they cannot unscrew during subsequent changes, special steel threaded inserts, extremely thin walls, with corrosion protection, incl. inserts for tapered sealing seats (without seal ring) e.g. Ford, Peugeot, MB etc.
