A HC synthetic lubricant specially formulated to meet the VW specifications - VW 504.00 and 507.00 - as well as the Long Life III requirements of Volkswagen AG. This is a Mid SAPS oil that complies with the Euro IV and Euro V emission guidelines and protects the diesel particulate filter. This viscosity grade has been proven to achieve higher fuel savings than grade 5W30.

Note: The operating instructions of the vehicle and engine manufacturers must be observed.

Application information from the manufacturer:
Downward compatible: 504.00 and 507.00 override all previous VW specifications (502.00, 503.00, 503.01, 505.00, 506.00 and 506.01) for all Volkswagen AG vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) with extended oil change intervals (30,000 km or 2 years) from model year 2007. Note: This oil is not recommended for V10 TDI and five-cylinder 2.5 TDI engines built before 2007 for which specification 506.01 is used. First generation engines with pump injectors should use specification 505.01.
