Standard crank shafts correspond to the original crankshaft, the ABE is retained.
Sports crankshafts are not StVZO approved!
Sports crankshafts have partially polished connecting rods, the modified crankshaft cheeks (full cheeks) result in increased pre-compression and a better gas flow. The resulting higher engine speeds result in improved starting behavior and better overall performance. Recommended in conjunction with tuning cylinders.
