SHOWA was founded in 1938 as a manufacturer of aircraft parts. From 1955 the company produced motorcycle dampers and from 1962 car dampers. The experience gained from racing is incorporated into high-quality aftermarket products that offer performance, safety and customer satisfaction. SHOWA has been part of ASTEMO since 2021, the suspension products continue to run under the SHOWA brand.
