Moisture constantly penetrates outer sheaths and leads to corrosion of the shift cables. These expand as a result and prevent smooth shifting operations.The CONTEC cable end ferrule "Shift" made of plastic with a diameter of 4mm nestles particularly well to the ends of the derailleur cable outer casing. It thus effectively prevents the penetration of moisture and leaves no scratch marks on the frame. The CONTEC cable end ferrule "Shift" is ideally combinable with the derailleur cable outer casing "Shift" and can thus be used with many common hubs and derailleurs. The cable end ferrule is supplied in a bottle of 150 pieces - perfectly suited as a stock pack for the workshop at home.
