With Abbey MIPS, you can be sure of moving safely through traffic.The city / urban helmet with visor made from recycled marine plastic is made from a combination of a lightweight in-mold micro-shell plastic construction with a thin EPS inner shell and is also equipped with the MIPS system. What is MIPS? MIPS technology allows the helmet shell to move relative to the head in the event of an angled impact. This protects your brain from rotational forces and serious injuries.There is a safety LED Light at the back of the Helmet, which makes you more visible to other road users at dusk. The integrated light is rechargeable via a USB port. The maximum light duration is 165 minutes. Another feature for increased visibility are the reflective straps on the Abbey MIPS. These are made from recycled PET water bottles!With the magnetic Fidlock snap lock including padding, the Helmet can also be opened and closed with one hand without the risk of getting caught. The integrated TriVider, an extra-wide strap divider, ensures a high level of comfort and individual adjustment. Speaking of adjustment: thanks to the XY Sizer (adjustment wheel) on the back of the Helmet, the Abbey MIPS can be individually adjusted in height and width. The cooling padding inside the Helmet has an anti-sweat effect and is washable and replaceable.Abbey MIPS is available in two different sizes and three color variants. Each model has been painted with environmentally friendly, water-based paints.
