The "Cairon S 8.0" kicks off the new model year with a redesigned frame. The battery is now fully integrated into the down tube. This gives the CONWAY e-MTB a clean, uncluttered look, and the battery is also better protected against moisture and rock chips. In the 29er version, the bike excels with outstanding rolling performance.Powering the bike is the BOSCH “Performance CX” engine, mounted at the bottom bracket. It ensures balanced, natural handling even at top speeds of 25 km/h. It draws its power from the 750-Wh battery, which is the highest-capacity battery among BOSCH’s “PowerTube” variants. The drivetrain is complemented by the SHIMANO 11-speed “XT” derailleur. Thanks to the new LinkGlide technology, the chain and cassette are significantly better protected against wear and tear.In addition, the bike impresses with its stable straight-line tracking, the 120-mm travel of the ROCKSHOX “35 Gold RL” air Suspension Fork, and the 65-mm-wide “Johnny Watts” Tires from SCHWALBE. Large-diameter hydraulic disc brakes (203/180 mm) bring you to a stop reliably—whether you apply them gently or with sudden, sharp braking.
