Solves the problem of possible leaks in a conventional battery. The electrolyte (acid) consists entirely of a non-liquid gel. Even in the event of damage to the Housing of the Battery, this electrolyte cannot leak. It provides the ultimate protection against possible acid damage to the motorcycle or Wheels.
The service life of a gel battery is approx. 50 % longer than that of a conventional maintenance-free battery. According to the JB/4282-92 standard, a normal maintenance-free battery has a maximum service life of 200 charging cycles. This compares with up to 500 charging cycles for a gel battery.
Attention: Recharging only with so-called "intelligent charging devices" such as Optimate 4 and Intellicharger II. Damage caused by incorrect charging is not covered by the warranty!
Caution: Never open or drill into these sealed (gel) batteries or remove the sealing strip!
