Assistive Crank with Pendulum ArmWith the FALISOMED “Reha” rehabilitation crank attachment, patients—for example, those recovering from surgery—can improve their limited knee mobility by exercising on Indoor Trainers or bikes. The Crank’s range of motion is largely continuously adjustable. The slide rail is available for the right side (102 Reha) and the left side (101 Reha) of the Crank. This makes the crank arm attachment suitable for use in physical therapy practices or rehabilitation clinics as well. The slide rail, made of high-strength lightweight metal, is attached to the crank with two screw connections and a stainless steel locking pin. A sliding block with a ball-bearing-mounted swing crank is then mounted on the rail. This assembly allows the pedal position to be adjusted virtually continuously and tailored to the user’s training progress.
