Efficiency & precision for the terrainThe "Vento Overcurve X3" is an XC racing shoe from FIZIK that is designed to fulfill its core functions: it has a precise fit, protects the wearer and efficiently transmits power all the way to the finish line. The "Microtex"-upper is soft, yet firm and stable for a comfortable and consistent fit. It is crafted in a sleek, streamlined yet highly ergonomic pattern to give you the protection you need. With the "Overcurve" is a shoe construction with an offset collar that wraps around the ankle, following the natural misalignment of the two bony prominences of the ankle: the outer and inner malleolus. The result is an asymmetrical shape in which the shoe manifolds over the foot from the outside to the inside. The shoe can be closed easily and securely using a micro-adjustable "BOA IP1 Dial" fastener. The "Vento Overcurve X3" is manufactured with extensive use of welding and laminate reinforcements, reducing exposed seams that could pick up dirt. They are lightweight but robust, durable and easy to clean. The racing orientation of this shoe is emphasized with the X3-outsole with carbon reinforcement: It is kept to a minimum to save weight, but stiff for power transmission. This Road Shoe also has an aggressive tread that digs into the ground and is easy to clean off dirt.
