For cleaning and disinfecting air conditioning systems
Special cleaner designed to easily and effectively remove dirt and unpleasant odors from air conditioning systems without disassembly. Leaves the evaporator surface clean and imparts a pleasantly fresh scent after cleaning. Follow the service recommendations specified by vehicle manufacturers for cleaning air conditioning systems. For the hygienic removal of dirt from evaporator surfaces and in ventilation ducts of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, and home air conditioning systems.
Application: Single-use package: 1 L is sufficient for one vehicle or one air conditioning system. If the manufacturer has provided a service recommendation for cleaning the air conditioning system, follow it. If there are no model-specific instructions from the car manufacturer, follow the application recommendations. For commercial vehicle, bus, and residential air conditioning systems, spray the cleaning fluid directly onto the evaporator surface whenever possible.
Application Recommendations: Open the windows during the cleaning process. Avoid inhaling the vapors during cleaning. Check that the condensate drain openings are clear. Dry the evaporator surface for 10 minutes with the engine running using the following heating and ventilation settings: Turn off the air conditioning and set it to recirculation mode. Set the air distribution switch to the footwell. Turn the temperature control and fan speed selector to maximum. Clean the air conditioning system: Insert the cleaning gun’s nozzle toward the evaporator (center of the vehicle) (vehicle-specific instructions can be found under “AC cleaner” at liqui-moly.com). By activating the cleaning gun and carefully moving the spray probe back and forth, the evaporator is thoroughly rinsed and cleaned. Allow the cleaning fluid to take effect for 15–20 minutes. Turn on the air conditioning, set the temperature to minimum and the fan speed to maximum. Let it run in this mode for 10 minutes. Replace the dust and pollen filters. Note: Wipe up any spilled Cleaner with a damp cloth and water.
