Fluorescent, fully synthetic AC oil based on polyalkylene glycol
Refrigerant oil for air conditioning systems filled with R134a. Used to lubricate, seal, and cool the sliding and rotating parts in the refrigerant circuit. Meets the requirements of leading air conditioning compressor manufacturers. Complies with ISO VG Class 46 according to DIN 51519.
Application: To wet the seals during installation, the oil is applied with brushes to ensure a good seal in the system. To top off or replace the refrigerant oil in passenger car or commercial vehicle air conditioning systems, it is poured into a special filling cylinder and injected into the refrigerant circuit using an air conditioning charging unit. If there is a leak in the refrigerant circuit, the vehicle can be inspected in a dark room using a UV lamp on the refrigerant lines. The UV light makes the yellow fluorescent color in the PAG oil, which escapes at the leak, clearly visible.
Note: Not suitable for refrigerant circuits filled with R1234yf refrigerant, nor for hybrid and electric vehicles with electrically driven compressors.
