MAHLE Air conditioning compressor oil "POE Öl"

For electric air conditioning compressors in electric and hybrid vehicles
For refrigerant / coolant R134a, partly also for R1234yf. Has an electrically insulating effect. This means it is characterized by electrical short-circuit resistance. Can be used in all hybrid and electric vehicles with electric compressors that are filled with POE Oil ex works.

Note from the manufacturer: There are also electrically driven compressors for hybrid and electric vehicles that are filled with a special PAG oil ex works. POE Oil cannot be used for these. The suitability of POE oils for the respective refrigerant / coolant must be taken into account. Oil is also hygroscopic. This means that it absorbs moisture from the ambient air and binds it to itself. For this reason, opened oil containers must be resealed immediately and the remaining oil can only be stored for a limited period.
