Dog transport with the "E-Dog" cargo bikeThe new "E-Dog" is made for you and your dog. On journeys in road traffic or for a long walk in the woods, your dog can take a seat in the Cabin and arrive safely at your destination. Special accessories for dog transportThe German-made Cabin measures 68 cm x 64 cm x 61 cm (L x W x H) and is designed for medium-sized dogs such as Border Collies or Labradors. The Cabin has large windows and sturdy side walls as well as a robust tubular construction. The fly screen is included. Drivers have a good view of their best friend through the window. The dogs lie on their usual cushion in the Cabin - or on an optional cushion. The CHIKE accessories also include rain protection and a pull-out step for cozy dogs. It can be stowed under the Cabin without rattling. What's more, the Cabin offers enough space to carry large purchases - and of course to get the dog food! For transporting dogs, children and other loadsThe CHIKE's tilting chassis can be fixed and secured with a parking brake so that the dog can sit safely in the Cabin. As with the other CHIKE models, the permissible total weight is 200 kilograms. The "E-Dog" uses the same tried-and-tested trike platform as the "E-Cargo" and the "E-Kids". The tilt chassis and compact dimensions also impress with their natural driving characteristics. The "E-Dog" Cabin can also be interchanged with the other bodies. Technical specifications of the "E-Dog"TEKTRO hydraulic Disc Brakes on all three wheels ensure precise deceleration. The SHIMANO "Steps E6100 CRG" mid-motor provides responsive propulsion. The battery has a capacity of 504 Wh. The SHIMANO "Nexus" Di2 hub gear system, which shifts through all 5 gears fully automatically and in an energy-saving manner, takes care of the fine-tuning of the drive. It intelligently shifts to a low gear automatically when starting off in start mode. The robust and virtually maintenance-free GATES Straps round off the drive package.
