Easily adjustable & individualThe Ahead headset for custom adjustment: One turn on the Allen bolt and the headset is set. The bolt engages the inner thread of the Ahead star nut in the steerer tube.The CONTEC Ahead star nut "Select" fits into 1-1/8" fork steerer tubes and is inserted with the appropriate setter tool. The matching bolt and an aluminium cap are also included in the delivery - available in different colours. This way they can be perfectly matched to the look of the bicycle. Ideal for all bikes with a 1-1/8” Ahead system.
