The bolt engages the inner thread of the Ahead star nut in the steerer tube.The CONTEC Ahead star nut "Select" fits into 1-1/8" fork steerer tubes and is inserted with the appropriate setter tool. The matching bolt and an aluminium cap are also included in the delivery - available in different colours. This way they can be perfectly matched to the look of the bicycle. Ideal for all bikes with a 1-1/8” Ahead system.
