TECMATE Battery Tester "Optimate test"
tests battery and dynamo voltage
Usage:
1. Check the state of battery. An insufficiently charged battery is only partially able to start an engine
2. Start the motor. OptiMate TEST recorded the lowest starting voltages and displays (for 20 sec.)
3. Check the charging voltage of the generator and voltage regulator when the engine is running
TIP: Low charge voltage leads to bad battery performance. A high charging voltage leads to a lead-acid battery to excessive gas formation and damages it. High charging voltage at a LiFePO4 and lithium-ion battery causes strong damages.
