The nipple at the lower end of the old bowden cable is removed by a side cutter to implement the wire in the mounting aid and to be able to clamp with the grub screw. The nipple of the new Bowden cable is mounted in the mounting aid. The new and old Bowden cables are now connected. Now the old Bowden cable can be loosened and pulled out by the lever.
