With the right tool, removing the crankarms from a square taper bottom bracket is child's play. The CONTEC crank puller is supplied complete with 14 mm socket, 6 and 8 mm Allen key for removing the pedal and crank bolts and a 15 mm ring and open spanner with a rubberised handle. After the crank bolts have been removed, the tool is simply screwed into the crank thread. By tightening the bolt with the spanner, the crankarm is pressed by the bottom bearing axle.The tool for frustration free drivetrain repairs on the bicycle.
