The dropper seatpost can be raised and lowered in seconds by means of a handlebar remote and it gives tons of control on an MTB. Fiddle-free, simple and fast.The greatest possible control on the bike is particularly important in demanding downhill sections or in difficult terrain. "Drop-A-Gogo” is perfect for this: Being able to drop up to 150 mm with a post length of 440 mm, this dropper seatpost offers sufficient reserves for demanding trails. Other variants are also available with 100 and 125 mm of travel.In contrast to a fixed seatpost, which offers only limited freedom of movement, the height of this dropper by CONTEC can be easily operated by one of the supplied mechanical remote levers. On command, "Drop-A-Gogo" continuously raises and lowers. So you don't have to stop to adjust the post to your own wishes and can continue riding in the flow.2 levers for the cockpit are supplied for the handlebar remote: A universal lever for mounting on MTBs with a front derailleur and corresponding shifter, which can be mounted on either side of the handlebar. Then there is the second lever specifically designed for left-hand mounting, which is suitable for bikes with only one chainring, where there is no front derailleur shifter.The dropper seatpost is particularly elegant thanks to its internal cable routing. No cable is routed along the outside of the seat tube that interferes with riding. A further advantage is that the Bowden cable is largely protected against environmental influences and damage from the outside by being able to run it inside the frame. The dropper seatpost combines a cool stealth look with additional component protection.The tubes of the "Drop-A-Gogo" are made of high quality 7075 aluminium. This is an alloy that is also used in aircraft construction. The dropper seatpost comes with a low weight of only 540 g.The hard-anodised surface makes the post particularly resistant to scratches and retains its cool black look and value for a long time.In order to ensure optimal operation under all conditions, "Drop-A-Gogo" is also equipped with high-quality seals, which prevent the ingress of dust, dirt and water. The cartridge is easy to remove and replace. Control with the Bowden cable is effective and economical in terms of weight, installation time and replacement. No bleeding and no cumbersome cutting of hydraulic lines. So you spend more time on the trail than in the workshop.
