The CONTEC touring/trekking pedal "1Trip QR" is equipped with the proven QRDII quick release locking system, which enables the quick and tool-free assembly and removal of the pedals on the go. For this purpose, the mount of the quick release lock is screwed into the common 9/16" pedal thread of the crankarm once and the pedal can then be inserted easily and safely as required, or removed and stowed in the supplied storage bags.The pedal is supplied self-service packed and is made of a high-quality aluminium body as well as a durable plastic cage with a robust CrMo axle. The non-slip Kraton contact area provides good grip in all weather conditions, while the yellow reflectors provide good visibility and the smooth, sealed cartridge bearings allow effortless pedalling and effectively prevent the wear-promoting influences of dirt and moisture.The touring pedal is therefore ideally suited to the needs of professional commuters and the requirements of everyday life in the city and is ideal for use on folding bikes.
