Particularly versatile for maximum funWith the new "Drop-A-Gogo" Vario seatpost from CONTEC, the name says it all. The adjustable seatpost can be retracted and extended in a matter of seconds using the Handlebar remote control and gives you a lot of control on your MTB. Fumble-free, simple and fast. The greatest possible control on the bike is particularly important on challenging downhill sections or in difficult terrain. This is where "Drop-A-Gogo" comes into its own: with a drop of up to 150 mm and a post length of 440 mm, the Vario Seatpost offers sufficient reserves for demanding trails. Other versions are also available with 100 and 125 mm drop. In contrast to a fixed-height seatpost, which only offers a limited range of movement, the height of CONTEC's lowerable seatpost can be easily adjusted using one of the mechanical Handlebar Remote levers supplied. On command, "Drop-A-Gogo" moves up or down continuously. This means you don't have to stop to adjust the Seatpost to your own preferences and can continue riding in one flow.Two cockpit levers are supplied for the Handlebar Remote Control: A universal lever for mounting on MTB with front Derailleur and corresponding Shift Lever, which you can mount on any side of the Handlebar. There is also a second lever especially for left-hand mounting, which is suitable for bikes with only one chainring, where the Shift Lever for the front derailleur is not required. The Vario seatpost is particularly elegant thanks to internal cable routing. There are no cables running along the outside of the seat tube to get in the way while riding. Another advantage is that the Bowden Cable is largely protected from environmental influences and external damage thanks to the possibility of carving it into the frame. The lowerable seatpost thus combines a cool stealth look with additional protection for the components.The "Drop-A-Gogo" tubes are made of high-quality 7075 aluminum. This is an alloy that is also used in aircraft construction. As a result, the adjustable seatpost weighs just 540 g.The hard-anodized surface makes the Seatposts particularly resistant to scratches and preserves their cool black look and value for a particularly long time.To ensure optimum function under all circumstances, "Drop-A-Gogo" is also equipped with high-quality seals that prevent the ingress of dust, dirt and water. The cartridge can be easily exchanged and replaced. Activation via Bowden cables is effective and economical in terms of weight, installation time and replacement. No bleeding, no laborious cutting of hydraulic lines. So you spend more time on the trail than in the workshop.
