9-speed chains from KMC Chains on pedelecs have to withstand significantly higher stresses than standard chains. More weight, higher speeds and powerful drives are the reasons for this. KMC has developed its E9 chain specifically for the pedelec aftermarket. The e9 is suitable for 9-speed drives. A special anti-rust coating makes the chain particularly robust and hard-wearing. A Connecting Link is included to connect the two loose ends of the chain. Because the chain can withstand the forces of an e-bike, it is labeled "e-bike special".
