The eTrekking 8.8 is based on a new frame platform in which the BOSCH PowerPack 500 is integrated into the frame with a plastic cover. The BOSCH Performance Motor supports high-torque, is switched by 10-speed Deore in the new Linkglide version, which shines with a significantly longer durability and increased shifting comfort. Also available in large sizes (Men 63, Wave 61).

When it comes to mastering many a challenge on a bike tour, the powerful Bosch Performance drives and its companion, the 500 Wh PowerPack battery, are the first to call out "here!". The drive components are supported by the Shimano Deore derailleur system with its 1 x 10 gears.If the uphill section is followed by a long downhill section, the hydraulic Disc Brakes, also from Shimano, take over, only to ask in the valley: "Was that it?" And when it comes to unpaved roads, the suspension team gets ready: the Suspension Fork with its 63 mm travel and suspension seatposts compensate for bumps and dirt tracks. In addition to plenty of grip, the 47 mm wide Schwalbe Marathon GT Tour tires also contribute to this.If it gets wet and muddy, the newly installed "Curana Apollo" Fenders are there to help. They run all the way around the tires to catch any dirt. A new addition to the "eTrekking 8.8" team is the MIK system luggage carrier. It carries loads of up to 25 kilograms and is compatible with all standard system carrier bags. The only thing missing is the 80 lux LED Front Light from Contec, which has the task of either lighting the way home or extending the tour as dusk falls.
