It becomes stylish through the clean brand lettering and the two-color design.Whether sporting through the countryside or commuting to the office - the high-torque BOSCH "Performance" electric motor always provides the right support and is therefore also ideally suited for hilly terrain. It is powered by the highest-capacity BOSCH battery, the "PowerPack 500", which is designed for extensive or more demanding tours. Shifted by SHIMANO 10-speed "Deore", which is designed with its ratio and gear gradation for steep climbs and fast descents. Due to the Linkglide technology, it can be operated much crisper. Wear is noticeable more slowly.Large-diameter discs (180/160 m) with the braking power of TEKTRO hydraulics ensure a spontaneous stop when the going gets tough, or precise, anticipatory braking when going downhill. Comfort gets the eTrekking 8.8 primarily through the suspended SUNTOUR fork with 63mm travel. Unpleasant rides through potholes or over cobblestones in the old town are properly dampened. On slippery tracks, the suspension can be blocked thanks to the lockout function. The extremely robust, 50mm wide "Marathon" tires from SCHWALBE give solid grip both on asphalt and on paved roads and shine above all with their durability. Reflective stripes give a plus in safety.High visibility in road traffic is provided by the powerful CONTEC LED lighting. The front light illuminates the dark way home with a 80 lux. The rear light scores with the stoplight function, which not only protects you, but also gives following cyclists the chance to react in time.
