With the clean brand lettering they hit the mark.The SHIMANO "XT" shifting is designed with its gear gradations on steep climbs and fast downhill. The rear derailleur is light, the gears can be changed smoothly. The likewise lightweight wheels with the sporty SCHWALBE "Marathon Racer" tires match. In 40mm width they are with their damping comfort in every respect suitable for touring.For the usual high VICTORIA comfort standard, the "Trekking 8.7" is equipped with an air-suspension fork, which can be individually adjusted to the rider's weight as well as locked from the handlebars during smooth asphalt passages. Reliable braking power is provided by the hydraulic disc brakes from SHIMANO, which convince in two respects. First: strong braking power. Second: good dosing.Particularly practical is the CONTEC front light "DLux 80 N+", which illuminates the path in front of you with 80 lux bright as day. In addition, it is equipped with a light-dark sensor that reacts accordingly to the lighting conditions. Last but not least, the front light and tail light have a parking light function, which continues to shine for a while when waiting at a dark intersection.
