A Hub is like the heart of a Wheel - it forms the stable core that leads to a smooth riding experience. A rear wheel hub has the additional task of keeping a firm grip on the cassette in order to promote both optimum power transmission of the chains and trip-free shifting. Our CONTEC EROQ cassette rear hub is particularly robust and can therefore withstand the high torque and weight of an e-bike. The Hub has an aluminum body with a hollow axle and is attached to your bike using a suitable QR (e.g. CONTEC EROQ.R Rear). The matching QR is included with the hub. The standard installation width of the CONTEC EROQ cassette rear hub is 141 mm. It is also suitable for 6-hole brake rotors and has 32 spoke holes. The EROQ rear hub has a robust Shimano Micro Spline Freewheel Body made of sturdy steel with high-quality ball bearings. The ratchet freehub system with 27 teeth and 3 Pawls offers fast interaction between the freehub and hub body, so that your pedal stroke is quickly converted into propulsion.
