HARTJE Press Release: Reorganization of the Field Service

HARTJE Press Release: Reorganization of the Field Service Restructuring with Contacts for Bicycle and Parts Brands // CONWAY receives its own field service team

The brand and wholesaler from Hoya is dividing its nationwide field trade team into the areas of bicycle brands and bicycle parts. The reason for the specialization is the increasing advisory demand of the specialist trade. Both bicycles and bicycle parts, as well as the numerous additional services, require more intensive coordination between specialist trade and field service.

The field service team of CONWAY has also reorganized nationwide. This reflects the increased importance of the brand at HARTJE, as well as the specialization, especially in the high-end models. The proven allocation of dealers to their regional sales offices with direct contacts in the back office remains unchanged.

HARTJE Managing Director Dirk Zwick says: "Competent advice for specialist trade is a must; the demands of our customers have rightly increased. Ultimately, also because bicycle buyers have developed higher expectations. With the specialization of our field service, we meet the specialist trade at eye level and can focus more on personal advice. Also, because essential tasks are now naturally done digitally – an area we are also expanding."

More contacts for the specialist trade with regional specialists Instead of a single contact person for the entire brand portfolio, HARTJE will now approach dealers with field service employees for the HARTJE bicycle brands, the parts brands in exclusive distribution, and for CONWAY.

The field service employees and the individual HARTJE sales offices in the regions are already informing their specialist dealers about the partly new contacts. "We have placed great value on ensuring that the contacts for the specialist trade remain as much as possible the same to maintain the sometimes long-standing relationships," says Sales Director Martin Wetzel, adding, "in case of changes in responsibilities, colleagues are also traveling together for the handovers. The process will extend into January, but now is the right time for the change: we will be very well positioned together for the upcoming season."
